Wooden Carcass and Heating Insulation Material Types in Wooden Private House Building

 

When building a wooden carcass house, there are possible different material variations; different heating insulation and decoration materials can be used. Take a look, what kind of materials are often used for building a wooden carcass house.

Wooden materials

Wood is a natural material, which is renewable. By using it, for example, for building a house, it comes back into an environment, don’t harm it. This is the way of nature preserve. Dried, four-sided, planed high-quality wood is used for building wooden carcass houses.  Wood spruce or pine wood is used, which is.stamped with the CE-24 material quality label (industrially dried on KD 18% moisture to prevent deformation during operation). Wood chipboard OSB

Wood chipboard OSB is a material, which is fabricated from several planed layers of a concrete form and thickness, which are linked with a binder. OSB boards are durable, that’s why they are widely used in wooden carcass house building – load bearing, strengthening building elements such as

wall cladding, flooring, and flat roofing. Different types of products are available, which are intended for different levels of the load and different environmental conditions. OSB is loose, but durable material, easy processed and medium humidity durable (temporary humidity is not dangerous), but it is not waterproof (when wet, the thickness of the plate increases significantly). Due to changes in humidity, OSB panels also vary in size, so they should be placed freely in a room where they will be used and kept in place before they are attached to the panels.

 

 

Stone wool

Mineral wool type. Stone wool is nonignitable heating insulation material, which provides heat, sound insulation and fireproof, it is used for walls, coverings, roof, attic, a floor in all types of buildings. Stone wool is flexible, with this material is possible to make quality framed wooden carcass building panels. It is easy to cut and incorporate into different ways – both vertical and horizontal. The board does not shrink and do not lose its characteristics. Stone wool is dense, that’s why, therefore, the heat resistance of the thermal insulation layer will not decrease in cold weather. Upholstered stone wool slabs are of different thickness and density, different structures are warmed up. The fibers withstand 1000 and higher temperatures and do not heat up.

 

Dry wool    

Dry wool is stone wool heating insulation material, which is used in a dry way, with blow-out appliance, pouring out or flattening your hands in small areas. It has no smack, it does not putrefy and does not create a favorable environment for the development of mold fungi. Existing ones high coverings of semi-floor and innovative buildings, private houses are in use, on which there is no residential area. With the blow-out, appliance is possible to access to the most difficult places to reach. Can be applied to existing slag or particle boards without prior coating treatment.

 

Glass wool

 

Mineral wool type. This heating insulation material has similar characteristics as stone wool. Glass wool is flexible and lighter than it, that’s why it is easier embedded and provides higher density. However, in comparison with rock wool, the glass wool has a lower degree of fire resistance, since its melting point is lower – 600-700 degrees. Glass wool is used for a wide variety of structures – walls, ceilings, roofs, lofts, and floor heating. One of the properties of a glass wool is its vibration resistance, which is why it is used for technical

 

insulation of pipelines.

Eco wool

Eco wool is high quality, breathable and ecological heating material.  Eco wool is used for insulation of residential and industrial buildings, it is more often used for insulation of the attic of buildings. Eco wool is made from natural pulp fibers that are made from waste paper that makes it environmentally friendly and environmentally

friendly. In terms of heat resistance and fire safety, eco wool is superior to mineral wool – stone and glass wool. Eco wool is evenly integrated into horizontal and vertical surfaces, as well as in hard-to-reach places – slits, pipes, and wires, providing effective thermal insulation.

 

 

Wood fiber crosswind boards

Wood fiber windshield effectively sustains wind and is a heating insulation material, which is used for wooden carcass building outer walls and roof covering full or partly insulation. Boards are made from pine tree scobs, which are impregnated with natural resin and paraffin wax. Boards to not contain allergic or harmful impurities. Boards are durable to humidity and are flexible to places, where there is a high level of the humidity. Wood fiber crosswind boards are ecological, which good sustain the wind, protect wooden construction against humidity – protect building design from adverse weather and climate exposure.

 

 

Wood chipboard Durelis/Populair

Durelis/Populair is a moisture-proof, three-layer particle board with a multifunctional structure, a smooth surface, and high strength compared to a conventional particleboard. Resistance is achieved due to the increased density of the plate (700-720 kg/m3) and the number of binders per unit of production. Waterproof carbamide-melamine-formaldehyde resin, which has a paraffin embedded in it, is used for bonding, this plate is water-resistant. Used for building exterior walls, interior walls, ceilings, they are suitable for load-bearing structures in humid conditions, depending on the thickness of the panel. However, it should be noted that in low humidity, these plates can swell and expand to a minimum, and therefore it is recommended to leave the welds 4 mm wide.

Gypsum board – Riigips
Riigipix – (also called rigipsis, plasterboard) is a constructive material used to create inner planes of walls and ceilings. From this, non-flush decoration for fireplaces, chimneys, risers and other indoor utility solutions is being built. The base of the pad is smooth, so it can be any decorative finish. It can also be made of any shape, including curved ones. The gypsum board is based on a dense, plate-like gypsum mass, accompanied by additives for obtaining or reinforcing various properties, and is covered on both sides by a cardboard that provides a plate’s durability. Not only the sheets of gypsum plaster of different sizes are available, but also for the various construction purposes, there are several types of plaster: standard white, green or moisture resistant, red or fire resistant, floor or brown, especially durable or blue, as well as folding, sound insulating and windshield.
